#42 매너리즘에 대하여
사진을 하는 사람으로서 자주 듣는 이야기중 하나는 매너리즘이다.
"스스로 발전이 없고 같은 자리를 맴돌고 있다며 어떻게 벗어 날 수 있을까?" 하는 이야기이다.
매너리즘을 이야기 하는 사람들은 결코 매너리즘에 빠져 있지 않다.
많이 고민 하고 공부하기 때문에 자신도 모르게 자신의 사진 영역이 조금씩 확대되고 깊어져 가고 있기 때문이다. 
항상 같은 사진을 담고 있는 듯 하지만 고민하고 노력한 만큼 사진은 발전하기에 과거를 돌이켜 보면
지금 자신이 이야기 하는 매너리즘의 농도와 과거의 농도는 그 차원이 분명히 다르다.

As a photographer, I often hear other photographers talk about falling into the habitual manners of photographing work,

feeling as if always hovering around the same point without any progress.

However, I am sure that photographers who are wary of their potential of taking stereotyped photos never fall into that swamp.

For they are constantly focusing on how to avoid habitual way of getting images, thus deepening

and broadening the range and scope of what they do through the camera. Photos never lie; they never fail to reflect the artist's agony of creation.
