#40 작품의 제목은 작가의 주제 일 뿐이다.
작가 노트는 작품을 구상하고 작업하는 과정 및 결과물에 대한 작가의 생각을 적은 것 일 뿐이다. 
작품을 감상하는 사람들에게 작가의 주제와 해석을 강요해서는 안된다.
이미지 스스로가 이야기 하도록 내버려 두어야 한다.
즉, 감상은 감상자의 몫이다.
작가노트는 비평가들을 위한 작가의 변명 또는 립서비스 일 수도 있다. 

Titles of photographic works reveal only what the photographers intend to express.

Photographers' notes should involve nothing more than the process and the products of what they conceive and work as an artist.

They should never impose what they think on the spectators, just letting the images in the photo speak for themselves.

Interpretations belong to the beholders. Photographers' notes may be nothing but an apology for the critics.
